From 2020, Nicole has embedded entrepreneurship programs as extra curricular and curriculum for Year 7 to 12 students. These programs include the annual Ingenium Award Programme to engage an entrepreneurial mindset in solving a community problem that matters and a solution judged against the 6Cs. Additionally, Nicole has overseen the successful implementation of several other programs. One such initiative is the First Nations entrepreneurial capability program, designed to empower students with the knowledge and ethos needed to become independent entrepreneurs. Furthermore, she has introduced Entrepreneurship@Work into the Year 10 curriculum, with a focus on fostering transferable employability skills, including digital services and creation of a portfolio. Another program, aimed at Year 9 students, emphasises the importance of financial literacy skills and encourages teamwork in establishing and managing a business that caters to user needs. Nicole has worked to amplify industry ecosystems to establish connections and facilitate collaboration opportunities for Regional youths in her community.
